Qualifications:

• A love for Christ and a commitment to the Valor Statement of Faith.

• A bachelor’s degree in education and/or equivalent degree in a content area to which you are applying is required. 

• ACSI Credentials or ACCS Credentials, along with teaching experience, are preferred for all teaching positions.

Position Opening: HS Humanities (Literature/History/Rhetoric)

Start Date: August 2027

Valor Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to teach the Humanities at the junior high and/or high school level. The curriculum is built around four to six anchor novels at each grade level, aligned with a specific historical period.

Our program currently includes Logic for students in 8th–9th grade and Rhetoric for students in 10th–12th grade.

• Teachers with experience in classical Christian education or an interest in classical educational practices.

Qualifications:

• A love for Christ and a commitment to Christian education.

• A desire to help students flourish in their understanding of the humanities.

• A deep understanding of literature. 

• A deep understanding of Classical and Western history. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A desire to help students become informed, thoughtful Christian citizens who understand the times they live in.

• Teaching experience or willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.
