Nora has a love for science, seeing it as a means to explore and understand God's character, creation, and sovereignty. Originally from the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and a graduate of Eastern Oregon University, she relocated to Sandpoint in 2015 with her husband, Chad. With 18 years of experience in youth ministry, Nora is passionate about working with teens.
Her teaching philosophy is centered on fostering a devotion for learning and encouraging students to become lifelong learners. She aims to cultivate curiosity and create a classroom environment where students are eager to ask questions and seek answers.
Outside the classroom, Nora finds joy in outdoor activities, whether hiking scenic trails or relaxing by the lake. She also enjoys unwinding with a good movie and expressing her creativity through embroidery, likely while cuddling with one of her cats Boots or Phoenix.Â
